Luther Vandross is dead at 54. I'm not a big fan but the man was certainly blessed with a set of pipes and it always sucks to see another R&B giant go. Born in a Harlem project, sang backup for David Bowie, 25 million albums sold worldwide. Your sultry baritone will be missed, good for you on a great career and losing all that weight, even though you were more entertaining as a fatty.
